Accelerated Resolution Therapy in SHALIMAR, fl

Reset your brain… fast.

Held back by PTSD, anxiety, depression, or phobias? Don’t stay stuck. Accelerated Resolution Therapy can help you feel better, fast.

Right now, nothing seems to help.

You’ve done everything “right,” but you still feel this way.

Maybe you’re here because the anxiety, depression, or addiction you’re living isn’t getting better…in fact, it’s getting worse. The people in your life are worried about you, but you’re struggling to muster up enough motivation to invest in those relationships at all. Some days, even getting out of bed or off the couch feels impossible.

You may be here because you’re experiencing PTSD-like symptoms. The flashbacks, nightmares, and hypervigilance follow you everywhere you go. Combined with the lack of sleep, it feels like you’re barely surviving each day.

Or you may be here due to a specific phobia, such as the fear of flying or the fear of public speaking. It’s starting to control your life, and you need to do something about it—fast.

Medication isn’t enough. Self-care isn’t cutting it.

But something has to change.

How Accelerated Resolution Therapy works

Feel better in 1-5 sessions, so you can get back to living your life.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is the combination of several evidence-based therapeutic approaches. ART combines visuals—images you create in your mind—and eye movements to rapidly and directly treat mental health concerns. It is well suited for anxiety, depression, addiction, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), grief, phobias, and more.

When we experience a painful event (whether we realize it’s painful in the moment or not), our brain is impacted. The prefrontal cortex, which is responsible for higher-level reasoning, planning, and decision-making, cannot function optimally, and the memories associated with the event can be ‘scattered,’ rather than ‘consolidated’ in your long-term memory.

ART helps to soothe the brain and desensitize the negative, distressful images associated with negative memories. In doing so, you can remove the intrusive thoughts, negative emotions, and common behaviors that have been causing you distress.

Clients are fully in control during ART. It is non-invasive, does not include homework, and does not require you to share the details of the event or memory you need help reconsolidating.

“Keep the knowledge. Lose the pain.”

ART is right for you if you…

  • Need to experience change quickly.

ART works rapidly, with most clients experiencing relief from symptoms in 1-5 sessions. If the challenges you’re experiencing are keeping you from engaging fully in your life or career, ART is likely a great fit for you.

  • Want to know what’s happening to you.

While you are not required to share any details about your memories or experiences in order for ART to be effective, I will provide you with the education and information you need to understand this process. You’ll learn not only how the therapy itself works, but gain insight into what is happening in your brain and body now—in your struggle—and after—in your relief.

  • Are ready to try something different.

If you’ve tried medication, traditional talk therapy, or even Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) with little to no success, ART can likely help. If you have seen success with other therapies but are now experiencing new or breakthrough symptoms, ART can likely help.

Fast results.
Big changes.

Imagine a life where the intrusive thoughts or doubts are gone. You no longer second-guess yourself at every turn or lie awake at night, wondering if this can ever change. It can.

You deserve peace.

Frequently asked questions

  • During Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), you are fully awake and aware throughout the session. Unlike hypnosis, which involves altered states of consciousness, ART utilizes visualization and bilateral stimulation (engaging both sides of your brain) to help facilitate the processing and resolution of traumatic experiences.

  • While they share similarities, such as utilizing eye movements to aid in visualization, ART is more focused on the ways that negative imagery connects to emotional and physical reactions. ART sessions tend to focus on one central issue or problem at a time, and clients are able to find relief from distress in 1-5 sessions.
